Customer Support Specialist (Commission Processing)
Responsibilities
* Handle travel agency and hotel commission inquiries that come to
Pegasus via phone. Analyze data from the Customer Service computer system
to respond professionally to the travel agency or hotel personnel.
* Act as "Travel Agency Advocate" by providing the follow up with
hotels in response to the travel agency request through written
communications, phone calls, faxes or e-mail when necessary.
* Respond to all travel agency commission requests received daily by
close of business.
* Assist the Sales and Marketing team by making outbound calls to
travel agencies and hotels as they relate to promotions, new products or
other sales efforts.
* Communicate the benefits of the Pegasus Commission Processing
services to travel agencies in order to increase member agency
participation.
* Communicate with customers and Pegasus Systems employees with the
highest degree of professionalism.
* When assisting callers, analyze customer profiles and "upsell"
services when the opportunity permits.
* Assess and comprehend departmental needs and service levels to
ensure that no call is abandoned.

Responsibilities
* Maintain Travel Agency profiles by adding, deleting and updating
address and financial information and correspond with agency by the month
end close.
* Works with Pegasus Systems Finance Department and banking partner to
perform all "stop payment" and "re-issues" and "copies" of travel agent
commission checks.
* Responsible for identifying correct address for all returned checks
and updating customer profiles to reflect change.
* Responsible for the distribution of checks that have been returned
due to incorrect addresses.
* Assist the Sales and Marketing team by making outbound calls to
travel agencies and hotels as they relate to promotions, new products or
other sales efforts.
* Act as back up for Customer Service telephone team as needed.
* Provide on going support to management with regards to high level
understand of customer base (must have thorough knowledge of customers).
* Advise Information Technology team with suggestions or ideas on how
to improve the performance of the Customer Database.
* Prepare thorough written status reports in order to participate in

* Responsible for analyzing the assigned consortia customer base and

* Responsible for representing Pegasus Commission Processing at
industry events and trade shows.
* Responsible for the development, implementation and tracking of
consortia marketing communications and promotions, including the design of
visual and written copy for publication.

Manager, Travel Agency Accounts (Commission Processing)
Responsibilities
* Responsible for achieving sales, revenue and expense goals relative
to the assigned market, including:
New agency sales via telemarketing, direct contact, RFP responses,
referrals, etc.
Electronic Reconciliation & Tracking sales to current agency base
Maintenance and updates for current customer base.
* Responsible for maintaining a prospect and customer database,
analyzing potential opportunities and successfully implementing account
retention and growth strategies within the assigned market.
* Primary contact with the decision-maker level of member and
non-member middle market travel agencies, and will required to communicate
with prospects and customer base on a regular basis.
* Assist in the development of company business plans.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree required. An MBA in Marketing is desirable.

Configuration Manager(Electronic Distribution)
Responsibilities
* Preparation of production and qa installations which includes the
following:
1. Moving new file versions.
2. Verifying QA.
3. Compilation of new applications
4. Monitoring logs during final QA testing.
* Establishment and enforcement of installation procedures.
* Organization and tracking of current production applications.
* Documentation of updated passwords with new application information
(maybe operations document).
* Preparation of daily template installs.
* Prioritization of customer requests and mediation between customer
support teams and technical staff
* Facilitation of the software configuration management initiative

Requirements
* CS or MIS degree preferred, but not required.
* The applicant must be a strong person, possessing excellent
communication skills, demonstrate good interpersonal skills, and employ a
team-focused orientation while also operating independently.
* A moderate technical knowledge base (ability to debug compile errors
and trace through logs) and good organizational skills are required.
* Additionally, working knowledge of Informix SQL, UNIX, HTML,
JavaSafe, JavaCode and JavaScript are essential.
* Optional: Familiarity with a multilevel web-architecture preferred.
