The Tax Technology Consulting practice fulfills the technology needs of tax automation and reengineering engagements by providing expertise in application development, technical architecture, database design and administration, and project management.  Practice focus includes large-scale processing systems, data warehousing, knowledge management, and Internet/Intranet applications. TTC is a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider.

 

The candidate should have 5 - 7+ years of Big Five consulting or IT management experience and will possess deep skills in one or more of the following; COM+, VB, MTS, or SQL Server and should be MCSD certified.  Web \ E-business experience is preferred and Tax experience is a plus. TTC consultants must be able to travel 25-90%.

 

The ideal candidate will manage all facets related to or involving software development. This manager will assist with pre-implementation planning and design, estimation of time and effort, architecture and application design, and deployment of development  projects, as well as the strategic positioning and marketing of the practice.

 

TTC managers are also required to manage, train, and develop people from both the client and Andersen staffs. The candidate will be expected to supervise small groups of people that may include contractors. The candidate must be able to mentor and develop Andersen junior staff, and to aid in the transfer of knowledge to clients during systems development.

Experience in any of the following is a plus: Microsoft Transaction Server, IIS, Microsoft Site Server, Windows NT Terminal Server, and Thin Client/Server Computing.  Tax experience is also a plus. TTC consultants must be able to travel 25-90%.

 

The ideal candidate will work on all facets related with or involving development, including: pre-implementation planning & design, estimation of time and effort, architecture and application design, programming, testing, and deployment.  TTC personnel are required to achieve Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), or Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) certification within two years of joining the team (training will be provided).

The candidate should have 3+ years hands-on experience designing complex applications with Visual InterDev or a comparable web development tool, JavaScript and/or VBScript, Active Server Pages, Microsoft IIS and have a working knowledge of the Windows 95, 98, or NT operating systems.  Experience in any of the following is a plus: Microsoft Transaction Server, DHTML, XML, SQL Server, Lotus Notes / Domino.  Tax experience is also a strong plus. TTC consultants must be able to travel 25-90%.
