Future Events

Bowling Night

• SHACS  has established a bowling night!
• When: Tuesday, 2-11-03 from 9:30 ~ midnight
• Where: Huntsville Lanes
• What: The cost of bowling is $10.75 and this includes shoes, a lane, a ball, and all you can eat pizza.

LAN Gaming Tournament

• Depending upon enough interest, we can reserve the Ballroom. Contact Jeremy Binkley if you are interested in helping organize or playing. He needs people to help with the Gaming Committee.

Seminars

• Given by various Professors depending upon interest. Lecturers: Dr. Burris and Dr. Hartness. They will have a signup sheet at their office and possibly an online signup form.

Volleyball and/or Dominoes

• When: To be announced

• Where: At the home of Dr. Burris.

Secondary Education Conference

• The conference was last held on January 10, 2003. This event has its own page which can be accessed through menu to the left. 

Pumpkins and Power Tools

  • Usually Brad Merrell's House
    • For Map to house click here or see a SHACS officer.
    • Remember to thank the Merrell's for opening up their house for this event yet again. Brad has long since graduated from SHSU.
• What:
  • Bring a Pumpkin and favorite Power Tool and "carve" away.
  • Volleyball
  • Lots of Fun.
  • It is highly suggested you bring a little something such as a liter bottle of soda or a dish or chips etc. I'm sure there is a term for this type of party, but in essence if everyone brings a little something we end up with a lot of stuff to munch on.
  • Anything goes for carving... even swords
